THE VINEYARD

The owners have brought Adega Velha back to life by replanting the vineyard in 2005. The first vintage is in 2007, made solely from Portuguese grape varietals it is promising to be a robust red wine with a strawberry nose.

If you book to stay in mid-September you will be able to see the grape harvest and wine making in action. Please let us know if you would like to partake.

WINE TOUR

If you would like to have a day out tasting wine we can take you to visit Sir Cliff Richard's winery or, alternatively, one in the Alentejo, a superb wine producing area north of the Algarve. There are also tastings at WineMine in Silves, Algarve where you can purchase a wide selection of Portuguese wines at competitive prices.
